A recent Ocean Waves Soft Washing project. Cedar Shake Siding Cleaning in Bethany Beach Delaware. Attached are the before and after photos. We only used SoftWash Systems methods & equipment.
The owner recently added a addition to his house, and wanted the new Cedar and old Cedar to match. It was no problem with Ocean Waves Soft Washing & SoftWash Systems equipment & methods. The owner could not tell where the old siding ended and the new siding began!
Eric cleaned the cedar siding not the roof, the pics are at different times of the day which is sun vs. shade on the roof.
Also, these are promotional posts....
Good answer, John, but it brings to mind a possible thread in the future. Like methods or suggestions for comparison pictures. Like taking them both at the same time of day. Keeping them as similar as possible, for example, having the green hose in both pictures. Marking the position of camera placement so the pictures are taken from the same distance, angle, etc.
My New Years Resolution is to quit overcomplicating things (right after this post:)
Yes, it was the sun vs shade in the pic. The roof shingles are new.
Thank you for sharing them, Eric. They really do look good.
I want to be able to do that, too, but will need a better cell phone camera. :)
How many treatments did that take? AC has said that wood shakes can be multiple trips and we should consider that in our estimates...
Still learning,

Hi Vic,
Cleaning cedar roofs can take a lot of mix the one very large roof that I cleaned this past year took almost 300gal of 2% and a day and a half to compleat. I think this is what AC was talking about when you would put in your bid.

Thank you, Eric! Now that you mention it, he was talking about roofs. I'm sure that you are right.
AC said that there are 3 surfaces requiring multiple trips. One was cedar shake, and I forgot the other two. Asbestos? What is the one that is like Hardy board?
It's freezing in the Pacific Northwest, but Ducks by 10 points ;)
